Erynne Byrd-Quigtar

Erynne Byrd-Quigtar is a multidisciplinary artist and independent curator originally from Phenix City, Alabama. Her practice is rooted in identity, memory representation, and the belief that art should feel accessible not like something reserved for certain people or spaces. 

 As both an artist and the founder of Still House Gallery powered by Boyd & Byrd LLC, Erynne creates and curates with community at the center. her work has been shown internationally in Greece and in New York through Mystry Mart at the Brooklyn Museum as well as Red Dot Art Fair during Miami Art Week, while her curatorial practice continues to create opportunities for emerging and underrepresented artists.

Motherhood is also deeply connected to her creative life. As a mother of two young boys, she is building a practice that allows her children to witness what it looks like to dream boldly, create a life around what you love, and make space for yourself even when that space did not exist before.
